A great opportunity has become available for a Vegetation Stakeholder & Performance Manager to join us!
This role will see you manage customer interactions for the vegetation group, while enabling positive regulatory compliance outcomes, and managing stations vegetation protection programs in delivery of the annual distribution and transmission vegetation management program obligations for AusNet.
With a hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Lilydale and is part of our Vegetation Customer team within our Distribution line of business.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Support Vegetation Operations team & Vegetation Management Lead with relationships, communication and interaction with external parties, including ESV, EWOV, VESI, Local Government Authorities, Parks Victoria, emergency services and AusNet’s customers regarding vegetation management issues
- Manage internal relationships, communication and interactions with internal stakeholders across the wider business
- Provide support and advice to the Vegetation Manager and Operations Team with internal and external Audit Programs, ESV’s Audit Program, customer issues, emergency response and HSEQ systems and issues
- Manage escalated customer complaints, disputes and negotiations in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations
- Manage delivery of the annual Distribution Station & Terminal Station Vegetation Protection programs, along with the pipeline of network augmentation projects arising from Field Arborist solutions
You don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Qualification in Arboriculture
- Proven experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Knowledge and technical experience of electrical Transmission and Distribution networks and the utility arboriculture industry
- Detailed knowledge of applicable regulations and business requirements in the areas of vegetation and easement management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective business relationships
- High attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
