We are seeking an experienced Third Party Interface Manager to lead the planning, governance, coordination and delivery of all third-party and project interfaces required to support the successful construction and commissioning of the Western Renewables Link.

Reporting to the project leadership team, this role is responsible for the strategic planning, management and delivery of more than 100 utility and stakeholder interfaces, alongside mobilisation activities, project camp site works and other critical enabling works across the WRL project.

A key focus of the position will be managing the planning and delivery of the undergrounding of more than 60 electricity distribution assets in partnership with Powercor, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in alignment with project schedules, governance requirements and construction milestones.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

• Lead the planning, governance and delivery of all third-party interfaces and enabling works, ensuring activities are completed on time, within budget and meet project, stakeholder and regulatory requirements.
• Manage more than 100 utility and stakeholder interfaces, including the coordination of Powercor, local councils, authorities, service providers and the EPC contractor to support uninterrupted project delivery.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of electrical distribution undergrounding works, including the relocation of more than 60 distribution assets, customer-side works and landholder requirements.
• Develop, maintain and execute interface management strategies, agreements and stakeholder engagement plans to support construction, commissioning and project milestones.
• Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget and quality targets, implementing corrective actions and managing risks, issues and dependencies proactively.
• Lead commercial, contractual and financial management activities, including forecasting, expenditure control, negotiation and compliance with project and organisational governance frameworks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, government authorities, local councils, landholders, contractors and internal teams to ensure positive project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Demonstrate leadership in safety, environmental management, risk, compliance and team performance, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture aligned with organisational policies and project objectives.

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

• 8+ years of experience in project management roles
• Management of multidisciplinary projects and project teams
• Experienced in managing complex construction logistics and coordination between multiple stakeholders
• Contemporary practices in design and construction methodology.
• Contractual, legal, commercial, industrial relations and legislative compliance.
• Advanced financial and commercial management including cost reduction and meeting budgets.
• People and performance management including the performance of subcontractors.
• Complex client relationship and stakeholder management (including internal stakeholders)
• Quantitative and qualitative safety, environment and quality risk assessment.
• Analysis of and reporting on complex project performance, compliance, defects and/or non-conformance.
• Management of capital projects/program up to $50M or greater
• Experience in working within a variety of contracts, e.g. Managing Contractor, Joint Ventures, Alliances, Design & Construct.
• Pre-contracts Experience as Project Bid/Development Manager / Engineer in managing or working within tenders for a range of projects
