We’re entering an exciting phase of growth, and we’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst to help us lead the way.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging business strategy, regulatory obligations and technology solutions to support AusNet’s OT Communications strategy, investment prioritisation and long-term planning.

 

What you’ll be doing in this role:

 

  • Requirements gathering and analysis across telecommunication engineering.
  • Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the OT Communications masterplan and delivery roadmap.
  • Translate engineering specifications into business, operational and regulatory objectives with clear priorities, requirements and recommendations.
  • Partner with OT Communications, Digital, Engineering and business stakeholders to shape investment decisions and delivery outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality artefacts including business cases, options analysis, requirements documentation, benefits maps and leadership reporting.

 

 

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

 

  • Experience in a senior and/or technical Business Analyst role, ideally in complex or technology-enabled environments.
  • Able to translate complex engineering requirements into non-engineering requirement, priotities and recommendations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Capability in structured analysis, requirements definition, process improvement and strategic problem-solving.
  • Exposure to utilities, operational technology, regulatory environments or capital planning processes will be highly regarded.
