We're looking for a Strategy and Regulatory Lead who will play a key role in shaping and overseeing the execution of the enterprise's Digital & Technology strategy.
 

With a 3/2 Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank Fresh Water Place and is part of the Digital and Technology Team

 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

 

  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive digital and technology strategies that aligns with the organization’s business goals and objectives.
  • Manage collaboration with senior leaders and across AusNet to communicate the strategies, required actions and change initiatives across the organisation.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and budgeting cycles, and develop and maintain reporting and analysis to track performance against strategic roadmap.
  • Support the organisation on strategic deep dives, simplifying complex topics, supporting prioritisation and focus, and brining clarity
  • Manage input, and support for, Line of Business regulatory submissions, reviews and engagements
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure business unit Digital requirements are appropriately supported through regulatory review processes (EDPR/ TRR/ GAR)
  • Contribute to development of capex and opex plans and forecasts, aligned with Line of Business needs, Regulatory budgets and Finance requirements, and support Digital and Technology leadership stewardship and reporting
  • Preparation of accurate, insightful and high-quality materials for internal and external senior leadership, including Board, AusNet executives, Regulators and Government stakeholders

 

You don't need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

 

  • Experience in strategy development, implementation and delivery (3+ years relevant work experience; e.g. management consulting or corporate strategy role)
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable technology strategies
  • Commercial acumen and experience developing cost benefit analysis, business cases, and risk analysis
  • Undertaken quantitative and financial business analysis, extracting insights, particularly in areas of ambiguity
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, particularly in analyses and presentations (essential)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at an executive level.
