About the role
This role will see you have responsibility building and maintaining talent pipelines for AusNet’s critical roles. You will be focussing on external networking, proactive talent identification and talent engagement, acting as a dedicated talent hunter, nurturing relationships with key market talent for current and future AusNet opportunities. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively sourcing and engaging with critical passive talent through social media, networking, events, communities and outreach
- Nurturing and maintaining talent pipelines
- Conducting marketing mapping and research to identify the appropriate talent, emerging skill sets, competitor analysis, staying up to date with market and industry trends as they relate to AusNet
- Collaborating with workforce planning and people partners to ensure activity aligns with business needs
- Identifying relevant networking events and creating a networking calendar, attending events to build talent relationships
- Working closely with Talent leads, Advisors and Hiring Managers to align on sourcing strategies
- Building and maintaining relationships with appropriate vendors as needed for hard to fill roles
- Tracking, analysing and reporting on sourcing strategy success and effectiveness
- Collaborating with Employer brand for specific go to market campaign efforts
About you
You don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- A tertiary qualification in HR and/or Business or other related discipline
- A proven track record in strategic sourcing either inhouse or in agency, with an in-depth understanding of advanced sourcing techniques and platforms
- Experience in proactively identifying and engaging passive talent across various channels, managing that pipeline and relationships
- Highly proficient in effectively screening & assessing sourced talent for skills that will be relevant to AusNet now or in the future
- Expertise in a variety of social media platforms for talent sourcing
- Highly skilled in market mapping, talent intelligence and competitor analysis
- Experience of CRM platforms like Phenom to drive hiring manager and candidate experience
- Energy sector knowledge would be extremely valuable
