We have an opportunity for a Security Risk & Governance Manager to provide expert security risk advice and assurance across critical infrastructure assets and owners. This role plays a key part in ensuring security is embedded in design, delivery and uplift activities—balancing risk mitigation, compliance and value for money.

With a hybrid working arrangement, this role is based in Melbourne’s CBD and sits within Security and Network Control, supporting the design and delivery of the Security Uplift program across multiple sites.

What you’ll help deliver

• Ensuring physical security standards and SOCI obligations are embedded in design and delivery
• Providing security advice and assurance across critical infrastructure projects
• Undertaking security risk assessments and re-assessments on completed works
• Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on security uplift effectiveness and compliance

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

• Experience in security risk management, assurance and auditing in complex environments
• Knowledge of security standards, legislation and SOCI requirements
• Ability to develop practical security risk assessments and scopes of work
• Strong stakeholder engagement and clear, professional reporting skills
