We have an opportunity for a Project Controller to drive financial and governance excellence across AusNet’s Transmission Delivery projects. In this role, you’ll work closely with Project Managers to develop financial plans, monitor expenditure, and ensure compliance with project governance frameworks. You’ll provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, oversee risk and cost controls, and enhance financial transparency across major infrastructure projects. With a 3/2 hybrid split, this role is based in Malvern and is part of the Transmission Delivery team.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Develop financial plans and forecasts for major projects.
- Monitor and manage project expenditure to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Provide financial governance and reporting for project portfolios.
- Support risk management and compliance within Transmission Delivery.
- Establish and maintain cost control, change control, and procurement processes.
- Ensure project stakeholders adhere to governance frameworks.
- Deliver financial reporting, variance analysis, and stakeholder insights.
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a project delivery environment.
- Strong financial planning, cost analysis, and project governance expertise.
- Knowledge of procurement and contract management processes.
- Ability to manage stakeholder engagement and communication effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools and financial reporting systems.
- Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks.
