As Procurements Process Manager, this role will see you identifying, assessing and implementing improvement initiatives across source-to-contract and related procurement processes and tools.  This role requires a forward-thinking mindset and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Your project management, process improvement, stakeholder management and document writing skills will be highly valued in this role, in addition to your collaborative working style, enabling improved business outcomes and enhanced operational efficiency.

 

With a Hybrid split (Southbank/WFH), this role is based in Southbank working within the Governance and Sustainable Procurement team.

 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Using your procurement/supply chain/process improvement/program management experience to lead investigation, documentation and implementation of best practice procurement processes and tools
  • Project management - application of specific processes and principles to initiate, plan, manage and deliver a project within the project constraints (e.g. scope, time, budget)
  • Lead investigations with multi-discipline business stakeholders to understand current business needs, processes and tools
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for improvements to source to contract processes and tools (currently Ariba) and deliver this education to the business
  • Lead development and implementation of programs resulting in process and tool uplift, building and communicating cases for innovation & change
  • Act as the main contact for AusNet in-scope suppliers in relation to reporting requirements under the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) legislation

 

You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Working knowledge within supply chains, including source to contract environments and other procurement-related processes
  • Applied experience in project management
  • Experience and/or aptitude in process mapping, document writing and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Applied user experience using Ariba, editing templates and parameters in Ariba (desirable)
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, an advantage
  • An ability to be agile and adaptive yet have a structured approach and relentless focus on delivery of value
