We’re looking for a People Strategy Lead to support the development of AusNet’s first holistic People Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a practical, actionable strategy that supports future business needs, while working closely with other Strategy stakeholders, HR Business Partners, the broader People team and senior stakeholders across the enterprise.

 

 

What you’ll be doing in this role:

 

  • Undertake workforce planning analysis on capability across the enterprise.
  • Deliver high-quality insights and strategic recommendations to help shape AusNet’s People Strategy.
  • Develop key inputs for leadership reports and decision-making forums, including Board and Executive Leadership Team papers.
  • Build strong relationships and stakeholder buy-in across business units.
  • Translate strategy into practical, actionable plans.

 

 

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

 

  • Strategic consulting experience gained in a top-tier or highly regarded strategy environment.
  • Strong structured problem-solving capability, with the ability to analyse data and develop clear, actionable insights.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building analysis-based narratives and insights
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentations and papers.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement skills and confidence working with senior leaders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, HR, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
  • Experience in the energy sector, organisational development or AI will be highly regarded.
  • Similarly, experience within workplace planning or people-adjacent roles would be beneficial.
