As the Transmission Operations and Maintenance Delivery Lead in our Transmission and Logistics Team, you will play a key role in monitoring delivery of the Transmission Operations and Maintenance Service Agreement and managing escalated issues from the delivery partner for a reliable and safe transmission network.

You will also manage changes to operational practices and provide advice to internal stakeholders on delivery issues so that AusNet meets contractual, safety and regulatory obligations in a cost effective and efficient manner.

With a flexible work environment, this role is based in Southbank / Yarraville, Victoria and is part of the Transmission and Logistics Team.

 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

  • Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the operations and maintenance program by our service delivery partner.
  • Lead the resolution of escalated issues that arise in program delivery in consultation with the delivery partner and AusNet stakeholders covering works practices, technical matters, scheduling and priority, logistics, regulatory, safety and environmental issues.
  • Manage changes to the works program including rollout of new technical, safety and environment or regulatory standards.
  • Prepare materials for monthly operational meetings between AusNet and the service delivery partner.
  • Conduct desktop audits and monitor execution of work to ensure the service delivery partner is adhering to processes and data collection standards.
  • Assist with monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) assessments and investigate issues with KPI assessment.
  • Drive improvement opportunities with the service delivery partner through review of KPI performance, expenditure, and operational analysis.
  • Ensure performance is in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
  • Contribute to our ability to deliver our services by demonstrating an understanding of work health safety and cyber security standards and applying them to relevant workplace activities.

 

You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Engineering, Science, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a technical, contract management or change delivery role within a utilities business.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and effective communication skills to explain complex concepts to stakeholders.
  • Capacity to make quick and informed decisions to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for personnel and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and data analytics and reporting tools and techniques.
