About the role
- Conduct field safety and quality audits, providing actionable insights and improvements.
- Lead, facilitate, or support incident investigations, and risk assessments as a subject matter expert.
- Provide technical support and safety guidance for planned and unplanned maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery partners to maintain awareness of relevant legislation, laws, regulations, standards, codes and AusNet policies and procedures and ensure compliance with network safety and quality standards.
- Educate and assist stakeholders on network installation standards and operational procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in field practices and procedures to deliver commercial and customer value.

About you!
- Experience in construction and maintenance of electricity or gas utilities.
- Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking, and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Knowledge of auditing, safety principles, and incident investigation methodologies .
- Familiarity with regulated environments and network operations.
What You’ll Bring
- Hands-on technical or operational experience in network utilities
- Lead Auditor in OHS/WHS or similar qualification is a plus
- A valid Construction Industry White Card (Vic)
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools to support reporting and analysis
- A current Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to travel across AusNet’s network as needed
