We are looking for an experienced Logistics Analyst to support AusNets day to day operational commitment to maintaining its in service energy networks and contribute to delivering its future pipeline of CAPEX works. As part of the logistics team within Network Operations, this role contributes to ensuring materials are prepared for critical response or project delivery by advising on and supporting informed decisions around material availability and its impact on AusNet’s response capability.
What you’ll be doing in this role:

Ensure materials held onsite are of sufficient quantities to meet business service levels.

Ensure Inventory management systems are utilised to meet the challenges of delivering services in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Responsible for inventory replenishment activities across multiple lines of business including inventory movement analysation, forecasting, purchasing and system records maintenance.

Interact with vendor base to ensure ongoing material supply including managing quotation to purchase order processes, delivery performance management, invoice management process and vendor partner relationship management.

Manage the maintenance of SAP ERP material reorder parameters to align material holding levels to business service levels.

Manage the ongoing review and reporting of inventory holdings to mitigate business risk associated with end of lifecycle spares holdings, high risk seasonal demand spikes and material obsolescence.

Manage the periodic inventory performance reporting for all inventory streams including audit, finance and 3PL costs/KPI performance.

Provide material delivery support for network outages as and when required.

Recommend and implement continuous improvement opportunities to inventory management/fulfilment functions as well as supporting ERP systems.

Manage the material return and repair process for the business’ maintenance, repair and operational (MRO) spares holdings.

Support a safe work environment through adherence to all OH&S policies, legislation and safe work practices.
-
Support cross functional, business stakeholder collaboration and relationship management with a focus on elevated internal customer service levels and delivery efficiency.

Plan and manage annual material stock take & periodic count processes.
-
Manage Inventory based performance dashboard reporting (Power BI).
-
Internal and external customer relationship management.
You don’t need to check every box; however, we’re looking for a good combination of:

Tertiary qualification in inventory management or supply chain-based studies.
-
APICS - Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM) will be highly regarded.

A detailed understanding of inventory control principles.
-
Demonstrate knowledge in maintenance, repair and operational (MRO) spares holding principles and management technique.
-
Analytically focus with the ability to extract, interpret and report on inventory data sets.
-
High level of computer literacy required including medium to advanced MS office suite and Power BI capability.

ERP(SAP S4 Hanna) system literacy.
-
Ability to prioritizing & manage personal workloads.
