We have an opportunity for a Landholder Engagement Advisor to support the delivery of AusNet’s landholder, community and stakeholder engagement activities across the regulated transmission network, supporting Transmission Development and Delivery teams.

 

This role is based in Southbank and is part of the Landholder & Community Engagement team within our Transmission line of business.

 

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Support the delivery of landholder and community engagement activities across capital works, major projects, operations and maintenance
  • Assist in preparing engagement materials, correspondence, updates and responses to landholders, councils, community groups and representative agencies
  • Contribute to proactive engagement initiatives to strengthen relationships, build trust, and improve data quality
  • Support the preparation of reports, briefs and insights for internal stakeholders, including issues summaries, sentiment insights and lessons learned
  • Support internal education initiatives about landholder expectations, regulatory requirements, and best practice engagement
  • Build constructive working relationships with delivery partners, project teams, environmental and cultural heritage specialists, and other internal teams

 

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

  • Demonstrated experience providing strategic communications, stakeholder relations, marketing, communications or engagement advice &/or experience supporting energy-related projects or programs
  • Experience developing and successfully implementing customer and community engagement plans
  • Experience leading energy-related projects or programs or specialist function activities
  • Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narratives quickly and clearly and use personal initiative
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills and be a highly articulate team player
  • Strong project management and people management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or business-related discipline preferred
  • IAP2 Certificate in Engagement (desirable)

 

Travel: Occasional (Regional travel will be required from time to time)
