About the Role

This is a highly administrative role that plays a critical part in the smooth running of AusNet’s fleet operations. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of our vehicle fleet and associated assets, ensuring they meet safety, compliance, and operational standards.

This role would suit someone with experience in coordinating operational fleet activities, who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys working with systems, data and stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient fleet services.

 

 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

 

  • Coordinate daily fleet operations, including maintenance, repairs, and accident resolutions.
  • Manage distribution of fuel cards and eTags.
  • Reconcile fleet-related invoices and maintain accurate asset registers.
  • Monitor fleet performance and generate reports to support decision-making.
  • Assist with fleet replacement and disposal in line with policy.
  • Promote a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Support emission reduction initiatives and fleet strategy goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • This role will require you to travel to regional depots at least once a month such as Bairnsdale or Wodonga

 

You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

 

  • Proven experience in corporate fleet coordination and operations.
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of fleet compliance standards and relevant regulations.
  • Proficiency in business systems (Figtree and SAP a plus).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Basic financial analysis skills or willingness to develop them.
  • A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
