Join our team as the Field Services Coordinator where you will be responsible for engaging with customers and delivery partners to offer best in class Operations and Maintenance service delivery as part of the greater O&M Team.
This role is primarily based in Southbank (with regular site attendance), and is part of the Operations and Maintenance team, reporting into the O&M Delivery Manager.
This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:
- Contribute to best-in-class service delivery of O&M for more than 20 large infrastructure sites valued at around $2B
- Support the development of O&M strategies and O&M pricing for DFN development team
- Engage directly with customers and key stakeholders to develop outrage strategies, plans, and protocols to improve overall asset availability and to reduce outrage penalty costs
- Collaborate with customers and delivery partners to ensure all maintenance activities are completed as per the maintenance programs, plans, and budgets
- Work proactively and collaboratively with wider O&M team and other AusNet teams for the best outcome for AusNet customers and best commercial outcomes
- Undertake audits, investigate asset issues and events, and recommend/take appropriate corrective actions to ensure the asset’s operating life is maximised
- Manage an inventory of customer-owned spares and proactively manage all warranty and defect liability periods to maximise the quality and reliability of our contestable assets
- Identify and manage risks, track portfolio performance, track delivery of compliance obligations and provide accurate and timely reporting on these to stakeholders and regulators as requested
- Continuously assess asset reliability and performance, investigate asset failures, and take corrective actions to ensure asset operating life is maximised
- Coordinate with our network planners to deliver works that maximize availability and reduces penalties
You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:
- Proven experience in similar technical advisory roles in similar industry (electrical transmission industry preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge, skills and good judgement to deliver optimal business and customer outcomes
- Understanding of substation and line equipment, layouts and HV operational planning and procedures
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influence and negotiation skills
- Ability to find win-win solutions to complex problems
- Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple sites, competing priorities and towards deadlines; ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
- Exposure to Asset Management systems such as SAP, Objective, JIRA or similar preferred
