About the Role

 

As the Field Officer Development & Early Works you will be responsible for supporting the Field Support Lead with the planning, logistics and successful completion of required surveys in accordance with AusNet procedures and the ESC Land Access Code of Practice to allow the successful completion of works required for the Approvals phase and Early Works.

 

As a conduit between delivery partners, the Field Officer will manage and monitor of key delivery partners to deliver the project to time, budget, safety and quality, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction, compliance with the ESC Land Access Code of Practice.

 

The key to success in this role is to monitor, analyse and constructively review program, productivity, conformance and safety on projects.

 

This role will report to the PMO Lead who is located at the head office CBD / Ballarat and will involve extensive travel around Western Victoria.

What you will deliver

  • Delivery Partner technical tender reviews for Development Stage and Early Works.
  • Input to schedule and project timelines through working with Land Agents and Field Operations Support to understand landholder sentiment and land access requirements.
  • Logistics, planning and execution of required field works for Approvals and Early Works in accordance with AusNet procedures and the Essential Services Commission (ESC) Land Access Code of Practice. Ensure site access and security is compliant with AusNet procedures.
  • Interact with, and support, the Development team to meet with the ESC, Registered Aboriginal Parties (RAPs), Delivery Partners and other key stakeholders to obtain and maintain support for the project.
  • Ensure all commercial, regulatory and contractual obligations are met, including, but not limited to: Health, Safety & Environment; landowner agreements; planning consents; and insurance.
  • Deliver upon Land Access Strategy and regularly report to key internal stakeholders with progress reports on timelines, risk assessments and project finance.
  • Identify, document and mitigate risks and issues.
  • Ensure Delivery Partner/s are complying with site access and security.
