We have an opportunity for a Dispatch Manager to lead the day-to-day performance of dispatch operations, ensuring faults are triaged, prioritised and resolved safely, efficiently and with the customer in mind.

Reporting to the Head of Fault Delivery, this role is based in our CBD Control Room and is part of the Faults Delivery team.

What you’ll help deliver

• Lead a safe, timely and effective dispatch team, issuing work to field crews responding to network faults and incidents
• Improve dispatch cycle times from fault assessment through to restoration and close out
• Build a high-performing, resilient team capable of operating through routine and major event conditions
• Strengthen operational readiness, escalation pathways and continuous improvement across dispatch

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

• Experience in electricity network operations or similarly complex, high-reliability environments
• Strong people leadership experience, ideally in 24/7 or shift-based operations
• Understanding of fault response, dispatch or control room operations
• A safety-first mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
