We are seeking a Digital PMO Master Scheduler to join our team at AusNet. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for overseeing master schedule management across a range of digitally enabled programs and projects. Your key responsibilities will include identifying critical path milestones, managing cross-project interdependencies, and ensuring the smooth delivery of digital solutions.

 

As this is a new position, you will have the exciting opportunity to create, manage, and report on the master portfolio schedule and will also work closely with project stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure adherence to delivery timelines.
 

With a 3/2 Hybrid split (Office/WFH), this role is based in Southbank Fresh Water Place and is part of the Digital PMO Team

 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

 

  • Ensure adherence to project requirements, standards, and AusNet policies through active stakeholder and delivery team engagement
  • Define standards, schedule templates, and reporting for Digital Projects aligned with AusNet’s delivery methods
  • Collaborate with project leads to define and manage portfolio-level schedules, identify cross-project interdependencies, and support schedule re-baselining
  • Review schedules for quality, identify conflicts and issues with broader portfolio impacts
  • Track and manage cross-project interdependencies and critical path milestones, supporting the change request process as needed
  • Create, manage, and report on the portfolio master schedule to ensure delivery visibility and early identification of deviations
     

You don't need to check every box;however, we are looking for a good combination of:

 

 

  • Applied experience with Schedule Management at a portfolio level, including:
    • Critical path and cross project dependency management
    • Reporting on schedule status, risks and issues
    • Assessment of portfolio level impacts in the event of milestone change or schedule slippage
  • Strong understanding on waterfall/agile delivery methodologies and deliverables / artefacts
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Project Plan and supporting project and program management tools such as Jira
  • Relevant training or qualification in project and program management would be favourable
  • Has demonstrated experience working in a multi-vendor project environment
