About the Role

As the Digital Customer Communications Officer, this role will see you coordinating, writing, editing and reviewing digital content across a range of platforms and media to ensure that customer communications are consistent and effective for AusNet’s customers and stakeholders.

 

This role will report to the Customer Communications Manager and is located at Southbank, Victoria.

 

We are a flexible and truly hybrid workplace.

 

What you will deliver

  • Coordinate write, edit and distribute content, including publications, website content, social media posts, briefing notes, and other customer engagement and communications material that communicates the organisation's activities, products &/or services 
  • Ensure consistent messaging is delivered across all customer communication channels, including social and digital
  • Assist in website content management and development, including, but not limited to, banner updates, content and images and initiating stakeholder involvement
  • Ensure website content, structure and design requirements meet the needs of stakeholders and key AusNet strategic objectives
  • Ensure an understanding of user experience methodologies, web standards (usability, accessibility) and SEO is consistently applied
  • Plan and coordinate social media activities including but not limited to updates on Facebook and Twitter
  • Lead website data analytics and reporting

  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent copywriting skills and ability to review and adapt content as appropriate for a range of audiences, using the agreed tone of voice
  • Ability to liaise internally with content owners to ensure maintenance of accurate website content
  • Willingness to learn and become capable on a variety of different digital platforms including email, CRM (Salesforce), Explore, SAP, Fusion, Sprout (or other social media platforms), GIS spatial systems, MS office suite Power BI, Whispir SMS portal 
  • Experience in website content management, in particular the Sitecore platform
