We have an opportunity for a Customer Engagement Advisor to support the delivery of customer, community and stakeholder engagement activities across AusNet's distribution network.

 

Reporting to the Team Leader, Customer Engagement, this role is based at Freshwater Place, Melbourne and is part of the Customer & Community Engagement (Distribution) team.

 

What you’ll help deliver

 

  • Manage and respond to complex customer, stakeholder, community and network enquiries, providing timely advice and coordination across the business.
  • Support planned and unplanned outage communications, incident response activities and customer engagement programs.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, communities, key internal and external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, customer insights, engagement materials, briefings and communications that support engagement and inform business decision-making.

 

You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:

 

  • Experience in customer, community, stakeholder engagement, communications or a related field, ideally within energy, utilities or infrastructure.
  • Strong relationship building skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
  • Proven ability to prioritise competing demands, solve problems and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of electricity distribution or power systems, along with a current Victorian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel to support customers and community engagement activities.
