We’re all about building an energy future to be proud of. Sound like a challenge you’ve been looking for?
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals who bring strong capability in cultural heritage and Traditional Owner engagement, and who understand the importance of working respectfully and collaboratively in complex environments. This is an opportunity to be part of a major infrastructure project in Victoria, where meaningful engagement and culturally informed decision-making will be critical from the outset. We are interested in hearing from people who can build trusted relationships, navigate complexity with care and contribute to outcomes in a considered and practical way.
We’re interested in people at different levels of experience, particularly those who can bring relevant experience from large infrastructure projects or stakeholder-led environments. We’re not hiring for this role just yet, but we’re keen to connect with strong talent and will be in touch as opportunities come up.
If this sounds aligned to your background, we would welcome your expression of interest, including your CV and a short note outlining your experience, location and availability.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Archaeology, Anthropology, Cultural Heritage, Indigenous Studies, Environmental Science, Planning or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in cultural heritage, Traditional Owner engagement, Indigenous engagement or closely related roles
- Experience working within infrastructure, land, planning, environment, government or major project environments
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted, respectful relationships with Traditional Owners and stakeholders
- Experience supporting or contributing to cultural heritage processes, surveys, assessments or approvals
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive and complex situations with sound judgement
- Experience working across multiple stakeholders, including internal project teams, advisors and external parties
- A thoughtful, collaborative and culturally aware approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
