About the role

As the Contract Operations Specialist, you will be integral to ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of the transmission maintenance program. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Managing operational and financial governance, reporting, and continuous improvement for the $50M maintenance program.
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into TOMSA works delivery and financial performance, enabling informed and strategic decision-making.
  • Identifying issues, propose innovative solutions, and implement processes and system enhancements to optimise operational and financial outcomes, including program capitalisation, cost capture accuracy, and budgeting and forecasting.
  • Leading the design and execution of a TOMSA continuous improvement agenda, driving enhancements to operational efficiency and financial performance. 

 

 

About you

You don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, IT or related
  • At least 5 years experience in contract management or operational roles in utilities or a related sector
  • Use your passion for data and your BI expertise to drive operation changes & process improvements
  • Experience with SAP ERP and data analytics and reporting tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities and ability to negotiate a change agenda
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence a range of stakeholders
