A Contract Administrator opportunity has become available, contributing to the once‑in‑a‑lifetime energy transition by providing essential commercial and contract management support. The role supports the development of high‑quality contracts, effective risk management, and strong delivery partner performance, while driving continuous improvement and enabling the successful delivery of AusNet’s project portfolio.
This role is based in Malvern and is part of the Transmission Development, Customer & Portfolio Team
What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Delivery of high‑quality, timely and accurate project contracts, aligned with AusNet’s commercial and risk requirements.
- Effective monitoring and management of contract performance, including KPI tracking, contractor obligations, and commercial governance.
- Proactive identification and resolution of contract issues, risks and opportunities to support successful project outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration, enabling improved commercial acumen and consistent commercial outcomes across project teams.
- Contribution to overall portfolio efficiency, supporting the effective delivery of a $400M–$600M annual project program
You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:
- Strong contract management and administration experience in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of commercial and construction contract law and experience with contract drafting and negotiation.
- Advanced analytical and commercial acumen, including ability to assess risk, pricing, KPIs and performance.
- High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables, charts, data manipulation).
