We have an opportunity for a Connections Analyst to join our Transmission team. The team plays a critical role in delivering a safe, reliable, affordable and sustainable transmission network for Victoria, meeting the needs of our customers, communities and stakeholders both now and into the future.
As a Connections Analyst, you'll work closely with external parties seeking connection to the Victorian transmission network, ensuring a strong commercial focus throughout the process. You'll also support large-scale commercial projects, helping deliver timely and effective network services while contributing to positive outcomes for customers and the broader energy network.

What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Run and analyse pricing models using inputs from the Project Development team, working closely with Finance to review outcomes and identify any key differences or trends.
- Manage connection enquiries and applications from distributors, generators and large load customers, ensuring regulatory obligations are met.
- Prepare high-quality business cases and support approval processes in line with company policies.
- Create and manage projects in SAP, applying project governance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver solutions efficiently and meet customer expectations.
- Build strong working relationships across internal teams to support the successful delivery of projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, standards, specifications and project quality outcomes.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to drive best-practice outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information to support effective reporting and decision-making.
You don’t need to check every box; however, we’re looking for a good combination of:
- Degree in Business/Engineering/Project Management or related degrees/diplomas beneficial
- Commercial and financial acumen.
- Knowledge of the electricity transmission & sub transmission networks would be an added advantage.
- Understanding Victoria’s energy networks, the National Electricity Rules and regulatory frameworks would be desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Ability to prepare written submissions on technical or commercial issues.
- Customer centred thinking balancing the needs of the business.
- Broad understanding of engineering design & delivery.
