As the Energy Project Coordinator Complex, you will play a crucial role in owning and delivering the end-to-end process of customer-initiated projects; ensuring time, budget and quality meet our customer’s expectations and compliance standards.

With 2 days in the office, 3 days’ work from home, this role is based in Lilydale or Beaconsfield, Victoria and is part of the Customer Program Team.

 

This role will deliver real outcomes, including but not limited to:

 

  • Coordinating the end-to-end process of complex customer projects, ensuring time, budget and quality meet our customer’s expectations and compliance standards
  • Liaise with Design / Drafting / Surveying to obtain detailed construction plans for energy system infrastructure.
  • Ability to uncover our customer needs and enable their connection process seamlessly.
  • Provide general and technical support to resolve customer enquiries efficiently
  • Build and maintain stakeholder management skills with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adapt to customer work volumes, by means of effective communication, problem solving and reprioritising with the team to ensure customer targets are achieved
  • Prepare and execute contracts for complex connection works
  • Document creation, assessment, estimation, and coordination of complex customer projects, including authority to proceed and relevant approvals
  • Register plans of subdivision referred by local Councils for permit conditions, certification & / or compliance and engage appropriate stakeholders as required
  • Endorse complex URD and complex project design plans ensuring compliance to standards is maintained.
  • Undertake complex project scoping activities including REFCL isolating transformers for issue to Design Delivery Partners.


You don’t need to check every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification, and / or experience in an energy distribution network, with a demonstrated commitment to safety, delivery and problem solving
  • Customer service skills – a customer advocate who is professional, responsive and informative
  • Problem solving skills - rapidly identifies solutions by applying knowledge of AusNet Services products and services
  • Ability to prioritise competing activities in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated willingness to adapt to work volumes and track against Key Performance Metrics
  • Focus on prioritising customer outcomes and promote continuous improvement of digital platforms and processes
  • Strong customer resolution focus
  • Significant experience in complex project coordination
