The Distribution Strategy team is responsible for distribution business strategy development, business planning, investment planning across short & long-term time horizons and business performance tracking and reporting. We are currently looking for a business planning and investment/reporting analyst to join this growing team.

About the role

This role is the key strategy reporting role for the distribution business strategy team As well as general BAU reporting for external, internal and board level stakeholders; this role will also be responsible for undertaking analysis to support decision-making to align investment with strategy.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading whole-of-distribution business performance reporting, including obtaining information from various teams and developing effective templates and dashboards, to enable clear and well-presented reporting and presentations for BAU related reporting & adhoc reporting
  • Supporting the Strategy Leads with strategic projects and processes as required, including analysis to support strategy development
  • Undertaking analysis to support decision-making to align investment with strategy
  • Supporting the distribution Business Planning process and in-year initiative prioritisation

 

About you

You don’t need to tick every box; however, we are looking for a good combination of:

  • Qualifications in Project Management, Commerce / Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3+ years proven work experience from within a consulting, PMO, business reporting role, or strategy reporting role would be key to your success
  • Expertise in reporting and quantitative and financial business analysis
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills would be essential, Power BI knowledge would be desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

You are analytical and data-driven in approach, self-motivated, naturally inquisitive, proactive and collaborative with a can-do attitude and an interest in utilities.
