About the Role

Become an integral part of our team and play a vital role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Network Operations and Safety (NO&S) business unit. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the Business Improvement Pipeline, focusing on capturing, refining, and progressing improvement opportunities.

 

As a Business Improvement Analyst, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to provide insightful advice on business unit processes, products, and services. Your expertise will be essential in identifying and assessing improvement opportunities, contributing to our ongoing commitment to excellence.

 

You will also support the NO&S business planning activities and be an integral part of embedding our Enterprise Process Management capability across AusNet

This role will report to the Business Improvement Lead and is based in Southbank, Victoria with occasional travel across various AusNet sites.

  

What you will deliver

  • Contribute to the NO&S Business Improvement Pipeline through ongoing development and management of program initiatives
  • Articulate business objectives, processes, and requirements for projects within functional areas
  • Prepare and present initiative canvasses/business cases for Program Sponsors and executive stakeholders
  • Collaborate with SMEs, lead service designers & digital team to prioritize improvement initiatives
  • Analyse and model data/processes to identify improvement opportunities aligned with NO&S objectives
  • Support NO&S business planning processes (Quarterly Business Planning)
  • Provide system administration activities associated with the Enterprise Process Centre (EPC) application
  • Provide coaching and support to a community of process modelers across AusNet
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across locations and business functions

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Level Business Process Management systems (Enterprise Process Centre, Pro Map, Signavio) and process modelling skills (BPMN 2.0)
  • Training or qualification in Continuous Improvement and process methodologies.
  • Understanding of quality assurance frameworks and human-centered design thinking.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, Power BI, and Jira Kanban board is a desirable.
