We're looking for a proactive Building Services Coordinator to oversee workplace facilities across AusNet's north-east Victorian sites. Based in Benalla, you'll support a portfolio of locations including Seymour, Mansfield, Wangaratta, Myrtleford and Wodonga, ensuring our workplaces remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and operational for our employees and contractors.
About the role
Reporting to the Building Services Manager, you’ll take ownership of planned and reactive maintenance activities across a portfolio of AusNet sites. You’ll work closely with employees, contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently, maintain compliance and deliver a positive workplace experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating and tracking planned preventative maintenance programs
- Managing workplace maintenance requests and ensuring they are completed within agreed service levels
- Overseeing contractors and supporting workplace health and safety compliance
- Coordinating services including mechanical, electrical, fire, lifts, hydraulics, cleaning, plant and equipment
- Processing invoices and monitoring operational and capital budgets
- Supporting building compliance, safety programs and annual site audits
- Coordinating Emergency Wardens and First Aiders across allocated sites
- Managing maintenance and capital projects from planning through to completion
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing responsive customer service
You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:
- Experience in facilities or building services
- High level of Customer Service
- The ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Sound Microsoft Office and intermediate computer skills
- Experience with SAP and Rapid Global will be ideal but not essential.
- Fleet management experience, although this is not essential
- A current Victorian driver’s licence and the ability to travel between sites
You’ll be highly organised, accountable and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy operational environment. You’ll bring a proactive approach to customer service, strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve workplace maintenance issues.
