We have an opportunity for an Access Control Specialist to design and govern physical access controls across AusNet’s critical assets.
Reporting to the Security Risk & Governance Manager, this role is based in Melbourne’s CBD, sits within the Security team and plays a key role in strengthening compliance and security outcomes.
What you’ll help deliver
- Design and implement access control models, including zoning and least-privilege group structures
- Develop and manage a key governance framework, including hierarchy and allocation processes
- Monitor, audit and uplift access control effectiveness to meet SOCI and regulatory requirements
- Partner with stakeholders to improve security awareness and support secure access practices
You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of
- Experience designing physical access control systems and key hierarchies (not IT/cyber access)
- Knowledge of security zoning, compliance frameworks and critical infrastructure environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence and educate across the business
- Ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities and complex environments
